Volkswagen is planning some design changes and additional features to make the new 2021 Tiguan interesting. The German automaker has released the promotional image of 2021 Tiguan. The new Tiguan will have a completely refurbished front design, similar to the Jetta and Atlas Cross Sport. The grille and headlights of the new generation SUV are the same width as the current model, but have more aggressive headlights and a shield-like grille design. Volkswagen has announced that the new infotainment system will receive OTA software updates and will continue to offer in-car Wi-Fi connectivity. Volkswagen representatives stated that the next Tiguan will emphasize a sportier, road-oriented style than the current model, especially when equipped with the R-Line package. According to the company, off-road accessories are more suitable for Atlas, but it is possible for the new entry-level Tiguan to get some styles and features inspired by the off-road vehicle. As always, the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan will again offer 4Motion all-wheel drive. It is unclear whether Tiguan’s aggressive style will be supported by a more sporty engine option. The USA is currently using a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine powered by an automatic transmission that produces 184 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan will be introduced for the first time this summer and will be released before the end of the year.
