The company tells employees who have recently returned from China to work from home. Although the social media giant is banned in China, the company still has offices in the country, and its suppliers in China make Oculus virtual reality glasses and Portal video chat devices. California-based Razer, known for its gaming laptops and accessories, has also confirmed that it has taken similar measures against the Corona virus. “Our company restricts travel and recommends employees work from home,” the Razer spokesperson said. Like Facebook and countless other tech companies, Razer has offices across China and manufactures headphones and laptop hardware, as well as Chinese suppliers, gaming mice and keyboards. Corona virus, also known as 2019-nCoV, is part of the group of viruses that caused the SARS outbreak in 2002. The outbreak that occurred in Wuhan, China in December caused worldwide concerns. The death toll in China has already reached 81, and there are more than 3,000 cases reported worldwide.
