The interface is very similar to that adopted by Google on Android 10, but introduced by Apple in 2017 on iOS 11 and, later, on iPadOS. “This update will allow you to more easily manage Chrome tabs through a touch-sensitive strip while in tablet mode,” said Alexander Kuscher, director of the OS on an official blogpost. He also pointed out that this system includes options to reorder and close windows simultaneously, as the user wishes. The news is expected to arrive first on the Lenovo Chromebook Duet, with a launch date for the coming months.
