To start and moderate meetings in Hangouts Meet, you must already be a G Suite subscriber or have an active trial version of the service. Other users can only join. Go to meet.google.com in your browser and enter your G Suite login data to sign in. Click “Join / Start Meeting” to create a virtual room; Step 2. Enter the nickname you will use in the meeting; Step 3. The browser will ask for permission to show notifications. Click “Allow”; Step 4. Authorize Hangouts Meet to use your computer’s microphone and camera; Step 5. Click “Join now” to enter the room; Step 6 Hangouts Meet displays data to be shared with guests. Other people do not need an account to attend the meeting. Google also provides phone numbers so you can only enter voice over a common link. Copy the link and send it to your contacts or click “Add contact” to email the invitation; Step 7. When a guest requests permission to enter, a notification appears on the screen. Click “Allow” to revoke access; Step 8. Hangouts Meet has simple controls, such as activating or muting the microphone and activating the camera. Click “Present Now” on the right side of the bottom bar to share your computer screen. It is possible to show the entire screen or a specific program; Step 9. Click the user icon at the top to see the list of participants and the message bubble to access the chat; Step 10. The chat panel allows you to chat with members of the meeting only by text.
