TikTok, WhatsApp and Facebook are among the most downloaded apps of February #FiqueEmCasa: check out more popular apps to distract yourself in quarantine To test the dubbing feature of TikTok, we used an iPhone XR, but the tutorial steps are the same for smartphones with the Google system. After recording the video, it is possible to use cut unwanted sections, insert color filters, overlay effects, phrases, stickers and emojis. Check out, in the following lines, how to dub in the TikTok application. How to dub in the TikTok app Step 1. Open the application and tap on the camera icon at the bottom of the screen. Then tap on the word “Sounds”; Step 2. Tap on the search bar and enter the name of the artist or the specific song you want to dub. Touch the search result corresponding to the term you typed and then touch the name of the song; Step 3. Tap on the tick icon next to the song, as in the image below; Step 4. Keep the red button pressed to record the video with your voice acting for the song; Step 5. Tap on the “Filters” option and browse the thematic effects. Tap on a thumbnail in the bottom options bar to apply them over the video; Step 6. Enter “Adjust Clips”. In this editing screen, drag the red borders to cut the video and remove unwanted sections. To continue, tap “Save”; Step 7. Tap on the “Cut” option to synchronize the music audio with the dubbing. To do this, drag the graph in the image below. To save the video, touch the checkmark icon; Step 8. Tap “Volume” to adjust the audio tracks with the music and the original audio of the video that was captured with the cell phone microphone. If you just want the music in the clip, turn the volume down to “Original sound” completely. To save, touch the visa icon; Step 9. In the bottom bar of the screen, there is an option called “Sounds” that allows you to change the dubbed music, as shown in steps 2 and 3. In “Effects”, navigate over the available effect options. If you want to apply any of them, keep pressing your finger on one of the thumbnails so that they are applied to specific parts of the video. To proceed, tap “Save” in the upper right corner; Step 10. Tap “Text” to type words or phrases about your video. You can use the options on the screen to change fonts, formatting and colors of the letters. To proceed, tap “Done”; Step 11. Tap on the “Stickers” option to apply TikTok stickers over the video. To continue, tap on the “Emojis” tab; Step 12. Tap on the emojis you want to use in your video and reposition them by dragging over the screen. To finish, tap on “Next”; Step 13. You can set the caption for your post by tagging friends and using hashtags. In addition, you can determine privacy and share the video on other social networks. Tap “Post” to share with friends.
