It was said that the luxury car manufacturer Porsche has been working on the successor of the 918 Spyder for a while. The German firm did not reject these claims in any way, but said it was not in a hurry for this. We do not yet know if it is time for the successor of 918 because the luxury car manufacturer ended the production of the 918 series in 2015 only after producing 918 vehicles. A news article published on the Dutch-based news site Autovisie today confirmed these claims, revealing patent images of the company’s next hyper car. These patent images, quite similar to last year’s 917 concept series, raised the question of whether a new 919 series is coming. Patent images of Porsche’s new hyper car: Patent images have striking similarities to the concept, which lacks many design details. At this point, many aerodynamic components, including air vents and side splitters in the front bumper, seem to be ready-to-manufacture details. On the other hand, when we come to the headlights, the details here match the current design understanding we see in Porsche Taycan. On the rear of the vehicle, we can see that there is a large spoiler with multiple openings for aerodynamics. Another remarkable point is the positioning of two exhaust pipes just above the rear bumper, in the middle. If you ask why this is important, this detail proves that the vehicle will be internally burnt or plug-in hybrid. It is not yet known when Porsche will introduce its new hyper car. However, it is not certain whether the vehicle included in the patent images really belongs to the company’s next hyper car. We need to wait at least some more time to get the answers to these questions.
