The global epidemic seems to have increased the use of XRP in payments. The transaction volume of Ripple’s payment solution On-Demand Liquidty (ODL), where XRP is used in money transfers, has been at the highest levels lately. In Bitso (Mexico), Coins.ph (Philippines) and BTC Markets (Australia), the XRP Liquidity Index is very close to or broke the all-time record. The latest data shows that the volume in the XRP / MXN corridor in the last 24 hours was 22,386,122 XRP. The highest level ever seen is 23,147,448 XRP.
In the XRP / AUD corridor, the volume was 8,159,925 XRP. Thus, an all-time record was broken in this corridor today. Finally, another payment corridor travels at volume peaks in XRP / PHP. According to the Liquidty Index Bot, 7,352,234 XRP transactions were made here today. The record was recorded as 7,992,120 in early March. Additional corridors coming to XRP Ripple aims to increase the XRP corridors in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America regions by 2020. While it is not known how many new corridors Ripple will open this year, the number is said to be 20.
