Scott Derrickson, the director of the first film, will not be included in the sequel. Marvel also confirmed the news, “Marvel Studios and Scott Derrickson, because of creative differences’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has left a friendly way for the explanation,” he explained. Derrickson will take on the role of lead producer for Doctor Strange’s sequel. It is not yet known who will replace Derrickson after he left his directing post. No explanation has been given yet that the film will be delayed. In 2016, Derrickson’s Doctor Strange, which was released, was a huge success with a worldwide gross of $ 680 million. In the sequel, Benedict will again be Cumberbatch’s Strange. Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch, is also expected to be in the film. It was announced that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be the first horror-themed film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was hopeful that Scott Derrickson would direct the new Doctor Strange film, which has produced successful horror films such as ‘The Exorcism of Emily Rose’, ‘Sinister’ and ‘Deliver Us From Evil’.
