Volkswagen’s orientation towards electric vehicles continues. The company previously had an ID. He confirmed that the production version of the electric car concept that we encountered as Crozz would be called ID.4. After the ID.3 introduced last year, this name is no surprise, and the company has released new photos that show that ID.4 is almost ready for production. ID.4, which appears in blue color, is quite solid. The vehicle has a fully enclosed grille at the front, LED headlights and prominent air intakes at the bottom. The Volkswagen ID.4 came up with a body that stretched forward and a stylish-looking windshield compatible with it. It also has aerodynamic door handles, a curved roof and a relatively small rear window. On the back, there are stop-to-length stops and a bumper that extends upwards. The German automaker stated that the new ID.4 will switch to a fully digital cockpit in its interior design, and the controls on the vehicle will be provided by touch and intuitive voice commands. Volkswagen keeps all details about the new electric car confidential, but has confirmed that ID.4 will be available in Europe. Unlike ID.3, ID.4 will be a global vehicle manufactured and sold in Europe, China and North America. ID.4 will be built on the MEB platform and will be launched as rear-wheel drive. A stronger, all-wheel drive model of ID.4 will come later, and it will be powered by two electric motors. Although Volkswagen does not disclose its performance characteristics, one of the models will have a range of up to 500 km, according to the Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure worldwide.
