The Redmi Book line features models that differ by screen size and hardware. All models are equipped with the new Ryzen 4000 chips, which are manufactured at 7 nm and were launched this year. Xiaomi claims that these processors are up to 60% faster than those of the previous generation. The variants will alternate screens of 13 ”, 14” and 16.1 ”, and configurations with chips ranging from Ryzen 7 4700U (8 cores and 8 threads) to Ryzen 5 4500U (6 cores and 6 threads). The integrated graphics chips can be Vega 7 or Vega 6. Both processors have TDP of only 15 W. There are ideal configurations for light activities, heavier work and even games, depending on the graphics chip. The most powerful models have 16 GB of RAM, while the 16 ”model has a battery life of up to 12 hours and fast charging that allows you to reach 50% charge in 38 minutes. Xiaomi also said that the 2020 devices are lighter, thinner and with much more discreet screen edges, with only 3.26 mm.
